SWITZERLAND. Luzern. Stadt. Taler 1622 (Silver, 40 mm, 28.04 g, 12 h) MONETA NOVA LVCERNENSIS 1622 Crowned double eagle, city shield on its chest. Rev. SANCTVS LEODEGARIVS St. Leodegar, nimbate and mitred, standing facing, holding drill in his right and crosier in his left hand. Davenport 4624. DT 1165. HMZ 2-634b. Beautifully toned and unusually well preserved. Scuff on the edge, otherwise, good very fine.
